Both measuring instruments (Integrity Index®, Integrity Perception Workshops) as well as the implementation of the Integrity Improvement Process have been piloted at the Volkswagen Group, more specifically at the two brands Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Audi.
The Volkswagen Group is one of the world's leading automobile manufacturers and the largest company in Europe. It has a global workforce of approx. 670,000 employees in 153 countries.
The experience we gained from this piloting process has been highly insightful and led us to launch these science and research-based instruments and products. This strong partnership reflects the GOII’s main asset i.e. linking practice and research within the Integrity Index® and providing an instrument that has a foundation in cutting-edge research. We are most thankful for this opportunity.
Regarding the Integrity Index® we work closely with our partner Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge and his team (IntEthix).
Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge is the Director of the Peter Löscher Chair of Business Ethics, from the renowned Technical University of Munich (TUM). The Chair of Business Ethics investigates the conditions of ethical action in the globalized world. It aims to derive recommendations and guidelines for key players in business, politics, and society in dealing with ethical challenges. Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge is also the Director of the TUM Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence. The institute conducts interdisciplinary research in cooperation with diverse strategic partners - with backgrounds in science, industry, and civil society - on how to deal with ethical challenges that are found at the interface between technology and human values.
Our knowledge-sharing and discussions are of significant benefit in our way forward, offering our customers an instrument and product that has a rock-solid scientific base: The Integrity Index®.

Both the Integrity Index® and the Integrity Perception Workshop have been developed based on the ECI’s research and best practices. The GOII is, as subsidiary of cetacea, a member of the ECI.
